Jessica Riley content creator manchester

Jessica Riley

Hi, I’m Jess, a 25 year old based in Manchester, England.

Although I only properly started blogging in 2012, I feel like I’ve always been involved in the blogosphere, making basic websites and teaching myself HTML in the summer holidays as a bored 11 year old.

Graduating from Keele University with 2.1 LLB (Hons) Law degree and successfully completing the LPC with Commendation, I’m an ex-legal eagle, now following my dream of creating content for others to enjoy. Having completed MSc Marketing, with Distinction, I’m a social media enthusiast and will probably be pinning home inspiration as we speak.

When I’m not blogging you will usually find me near a (field) hockey pitch, listening to acoustic covers, getting stuck into a good novel or exploring the world.

The Crown Wings Blog

Started as a hobby, The Crown Wings was established in 2012 when I was in need of a creative outlet.

Despite being around for a while, it’s only recently that I’ve really jumped head first into all things blogger. The more I learned, the more I wanted to know and now I’m pursuing my dream of being a content creator.

Over the last year or two I’ve noticed a massive change in blogging, moving from authentic down-to-earth storytelling to more airbrushed magazine-style inspiration. There’s nothing wrong with that at all, and I love nothing more than fantasizing about a walk-in-wardrobe or a personal photographer but I live in the real world. And in the real world, I have limited wardrobe space and a point-and-shoot. But that’s cool, I think all these little things make life a bit more interesting.  So while you might find the posts about life’s little luxuries when I’ve wanted to splash out, you’ll also find student-friendly budget options too because life is about balance.
