Black Friday Beauty Bay Haul

Although Black Friday in the UK is nothing compared to how it is in the USA, it’s definitely become more popular over the last couple of years. This year, Black Friday was more of a week, with most stores offering some kind of offer.

Whilst I’m trying to save money and not splurge, I couldn’t resist Beauty Bay’s offer of 30% off everything. I did try, and even deleted the first e-mail, but by the time the second one came in, I’d already filled up my basket. Oops.

Anyway, I asked on Twitter if any of you wanted to see a Black Friday Beauty Bay haul, and 87% of you said yes!! Well, if you ask, sometimes you get, so here it is, my huge Beauty Bay haul:

I needed to stock up on some face masks, so used the offer to finally try some Korean beauty products. I’ve heard a lot of people talk about Holika Holika, and this Dualizm Mask Sheet sounded really interesting. It’s basically two masks infused with either water or oil, that you layer over each other. I can’t say I’ve ever worn two sheet masks on top of each other, so I’m definitely keen to give this ago.

Another think I’ve never tried before is Egg Cream Masks. Showing my haul to my mum, she informed me people used to use Egg Cream to make DIY masks, so I suppose this is just the pre-packed sheet mask version. Anyway, it’s from another Korean Brand that I’m yet to try, Too Cool For School, so I’ll let you know how I get on!

So, I’m one of these weird people who doesn’t drink tea or coffee. I do, however, drink hot chocolate and, at this time of year, practically live off the stuff. Bit of an impulse buy, but when I saw this Skinny Hot Chocolate from The Skinny Caffe, I thought I might as well try it out. On first impressions, the packet seems a little small for a 30 day supply, but we’ll see what happens.

Being the magpie that I am, I am obsessed with highlighters. By the time you’re reading this, I will have just graduated from my University course so thought it was about time I treated myselfto some new ones (as if this haul isn’t a treat anyway). I’ve been lusting after Makeup Geek for forever, so picked up their Duochrome Highlighter in Moonphase which is incredible. I also snuck in the  Aurora Glow Kit because I’ve heard such amazing things about the original version. Well, let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Full review coming soon I promise!

Next is another Korean Beauty sheet mask, and this time it’s from Tony Moly. Now, I don’t know what makes a Premium Snail, but apparently, this Age-Defying Snail Hydro-Gel Face Mask Sheet includes it. Needing a new night cream, I decided to stick to a brand I love, Mario Badescu. If you’ve never tried anything from them, you need to, because this is skincare gold. The one I picked up was Elasto-Collagen Night Cream to try to combat my dry skin. Oh, and obviously a Jouer Cosmetics Lip Creme snuck in 😉 This is from their Limited Edition Anniversary collection and is the Long-Wear Lip Creme in Cayenne. It’s the most beautiful metallic orange-toned red that I can’t wait to wear on a night out.

Truly committed to trying out Korean beauty products, I picked  up a few more Holika Holika products. First up is the Pig-clear 3 Step Kit No Water. Also from the range is the Pig-nose Clear Balckhead Massage Gel from the same range because I’m not sure what pigs have to do with blackheads but hey, it’s cute packaging! Getting something I actually needed, I decided to give the Hyaluronic Acid 3 Second Starter Serum a try. Hyaluronic Acid is my go-to during winter as I really struggle with dry skin. Fingers crossed this one will be good!

Not content with just one lip product, I decided to get a Dose of Colors Matte Lipstick in Truffle. As you can see from the box, it’s the beautiful dusky pink nude shade that is pretty much my everyday lip colour choice.

Hearing everyone rave about Starskin, I needed to give it a try myself. Of course I got another sheet mask, but I also picked up the 7-in-1 Miracle Skin Mask Pads. Essentially, these pads are supposed to cover everything from cleansing to priming your skin for makeup. Anything claiming to cut down my routine by that much has to be worth a try right? I’ll let you know how I get on!

Woo! We made it. So that was my huge Beauty Bay Haul. All of these products, and most of the brands, are completely new to me, so expect reviews coming soon! Which one would you like to see first? Let me know in the comments below!
