S/S ’17 Fashion trends & Where to Buy Them || Part 4 Stripes & Sleeves

spring/summer 2017 womenswear fashion trends

I seriously can’t believe this is the last 2017 spring/summer womenswear trend summary! I know I probably say this every post (actually there’s no probably about it, I do), but time is seriously flying by. If you happen to have missed the last three posts (ruffles and waists, bralets and pink, and tulle and sheer) and have no idea what I’m talking about have no fear, it’s simple. I’m basically rounding up my favorite fashion trends of the season and sharing some absoulte steals from the high street that you can shop right now, all £50 or under. Go it? Great.

Stripes

Face it, we’re never going to get rid of stripes so you might as well invest in some now. Actually, that’s usually my excuse for buying yet another stripe top; I’m just buying something that won’t go out of fashion. It doesn’t really work. BUT, if you are using that excuse there are plenty of options to choose from. I’ve kind of fallen in love with the Topshop dress in the top left corner, but for those of you wanting a more subtle approach, there’s so strong accessory game out there too. That Skiny Dip London bag happens to be in the sale (thank me later) and I’m contemplating picking these super cute Public Desire Heels up in this seasons ‘It’ colour, Pink.

Statement Sleeves

I’m pretty sure you have all seen pictures on Instagram of fashion bloggers wearing ridiculosly oversized sleeves? Very on trend, not very practcial if you ask me. Soup must be a complete no go. Don’t worry though you can still get in on the act and eat soup at the same time with these options. New Look is quickly becoming my one stop shop for the latest trends, and they do not disappoint for statement sleeves. I’m obsessed with that embroaided gingham one, and I’m eying up the pale green ruffled jumper from Topshop. If you have any events coming up, that pink bodycon dress is perfect, like seriously, look at those sleeves! So pretty.
