S/S ’17 Fashion Trends & Where to Buy Them || Part 2 – Bralets & Pink

Spring summer womenswear fashion trends 2017

Fashion month has nearly finished, but luckily there’s a whole host of new trends hitting the high street for the spring summer season. If you’ve never read a post from this series before, its become a bit of a seasonly tradition for me to do a fashion trend round-up series, and this year I’ve made it even better by showing you where you can buy the trends right now, all for under £50. Last week I talked about ruffles and waists, and this week it’s bralets and pink.

Bralets

Right, I’m not a massive fan of bralets. Don’t get my wrong, they look fab on everyone else but I’ve never found one I like and goes with my style but this season there’s a bit an update. Apart from pretty bralets being everywhere this season, laying bralets under sheer tops, or over white tees is totally on trend. Thanks to the amazing Victoria Beckham, even those who feel a bit self-conscious flashing the flesh can get in on the act. Layering is perfect for giving a 90’s twist to the trend as well as making it work/day time appropriate, and, let’s face it, more practical in British weather. Maybe I will give it a go after all.

Pink

Release your inner Pink Lady, because everything’s going to get a little rosier. That’s right, pink is everywhere this season, from bright barbie shades to subtle dusky hues. Whether you’re a girly girl or not, there is something to suit everyone, with pretty pleated skirts and biker jackets already available. With that many shades around, I really want to experiment mixing and matching them in one outfit, adding cream and gold to avoid looking like a giant flump. This is one trend I am so excited about, after all, it is my favourite colour!

  • Pink is still so huge- I dont think its ever going out of style

  • Great post! Funnily enough pink and bralets are two of my favourite trends and featured very heavily on my blog. I love layering bralets over turtlenecks as a way of transitioning into spring style while it's still cold out
