Fresh Faced Make up

Whilst I’m not brave enough to go make-up free every single day, I do like to look fresher faced and minimal during the day. Getting up at 6.20 am for work means I don’t have much time to do fuss over my face so these quick and simple products are my go to’s.

As a base I’ve been using Rimmel Radiance BB Cream in light. It’s a great light to medium coverage BB Cream that blends easily with your fingers and covers and blurs blemishes and imperfections, so much so I don’t even wear concealer with it. I love that it lasts all day without a single touch up but it can cling to dry patches. On my cheeks I use Soap & Glory’s Love at First Blush which is a powder mosaic blush containing segments of bronze, highlight and different shades of pink. This really wakes my skin up and looks so natural with very little work. Although my blush contains a little bit of highlight, I always make sure to swipe No &’s Instant Radiance Highlighter across the top of my cheekbones, and gently blend it in with my fingers. This gives my skin a beautiful glow and takes the attention away from my tired eyes!

Speaking of eyes, I don’t use any mascara as I have naturally long and thick lashes. I do, however, use eyelash curlers on a daily basis to really emphasise their length and open my eyes up. Depending on my mood, I then line my waterline with brown waterproof eyeliner. Brown is much softer then black whilst still defining my eyes. Rather than using powder on my eyebrows which takes more time, I use my trusty eyebrow pencil. I gently fill in my brows to hep thicken them and then brush through them with my eyebrow comb just to blend any harsh edges. Lastly, I slick Revlon’s lip butter in Peach Parfait across my lips just to give them a bit of colour and shine.
