This is the last post focusing on the autumn winter fashion trends for this year, with next weeks post focusing on hair and makeup.
Back to this week and the three looks I'm sharing with you today are perfect for work this season as there smart, sophisticated and stylish.
Suited & Booted
Featuring at Phillip Lim, Victoria Beckham and Stella McCartney, tailoring looks set to play a big part in fashion for yet another year. Think overused pieces and archietectural tailoring to keep the look polish rather than baggy and shapeless. If a full on suit isn't your thing, try an oversized blazer over jeans or a jumpsuit or oversized suit pants with a fitted top.
The All-American Preppy look was seen at Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger and Chloe. I'm not going to lie, I absolutely adore this look. With from pleated skirts to varsity jumpers you can choose how far you take it. I love the tweed trousers and polo shirt combo, and can't wait to dig out my old school scarf.
Taking inspiration from the 80's trends Polo necks were everywhere from DKNY to Hermes. Layer under dresses or fillets to keep warm over winter, or team with sparkly skirts and disco pants/leggings to make them appropriate for daytime. I think I'm going to team one with a cute pleated skirt, that way I can nail two trends in one outfit.
How will you wear these trends?
