Some of you may remember that I got an iPad from my parents at Christmas. As I said at the time, I'm not sure why it took me so long to get one as I swear by my iPhone and always have my iPod on. Whilst I still use my laptop for blogging, I don't think I could live without my iPad now. Lighter and more portable than my laptop, it's great for popping in my bag. Because of my obvious love affair with it, I thought I'd show you what exactly I have on it, and ask for a little bit of your help too!
My homescreen is also my screensaver and lock screen. Being slightly OCD, distracting backgrounds kind of freak me out a bit so I've opted for pink stripes a la Victoria's Secret which gives me just enough girliness whilst keep everything clear and organised. Speaking of being organised, you can tell I love me some folders. I hate having my apps everywhere and have the need to group them together. This is great when I can remember how I've grouped them, but if I forget which folder I've placed it in, well you may not want to be in the same room as me ...
The main organisation apps I use are Planner Plus (the basic is free, but I've upgraded so I can sync between my iPhone & iPad), and Wunderlist (free!). I've included screenshots of both the apps above for those of you who are similar to me, and very nosy. On the left is Planner Plus, and as the name suggests, it's a planner app. Think of it as a deluxe calendar, in which you are able to include events, tasks, reminders, notes, everything you would include in your normal planner. What I do love about this app is that, for a small charge, you can sync it with other devices with this app, meaning I have my planner and to-do list handy where ever or whatever I'm doing. If you are list mad like me though, one app may not be enough. Here is Wunderlist steps ups (on the right), an app with the sole purpose of creating lists. Simply make a free account and make as many lists (and sub-lists!) as you can manage. Your account let's you access your lists anywhere and you can even share your lists with others! As you can see, I've made particular use of this when my favorite bloggers have encouraged me to try a product.
The two folders I use the most are probably my Games and Blogging. I was never a big gamer, but I must admit, I've found myself tapping away a lot more since getting my iPad. Apart from the usual Candy Crush, I am completely obsessed with Frozen Free Fall. I've got to admit that it is exactly like Candy Crush, but with the added Frozen bonus. I'm slowly beginning to see what all the fuss is about. Of course my blogging folder is used a lot, with Bloglovin, being the most used app. Perfect for passing 10 minutes, or an hour, it's the best way to catch up with all my favorite blogs. The app is so easy to use and great for when I'm on the move as I don't miss a thing! Hootsuite is a complete essential for me too. Without Hootsuite (free), I wouldn't be able to let any of you lovely readers about new posts on social media. Working full time, I'm limited in when I can tweet, so by scheduling tweets I can make sure all my followers are kept updated, even if I can tweet at that specific moment.
Now for your help. I don't think I making the most of my iPad so would like your suggestions about what apps I should download!
