The Recycling Bin #7

I'm not allowed to buy any new beauty products until May. That would usually be impossible for me, except well I seem to have horded a whole Space N.K. amount of stuff. I'm not sure why I've horded so much stuff seeing as I love trying new products, but I definitely do not have room to keep saving things to use another time.

On the plus side, I'm getting to learn exactly what I like. Always on the top of my list is Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel. If I could describe me, in a product, it would be Lush Snow Fairy. The scent is me down to a tee, very sweet and sugary, and its pink and glittery; need I say more? Body lotion is something I am making more of an effort to use, and actually my skin is really thanking me for it. I really enjoyed using the BeeKind Body Lotion as it smelt so lovely and sank in fast, but I could give the Mitchell and Peach body lotion a miss, it was nothing special.

Skincare wise, I am an avid fan of Glam Glow and sadly finished my jar of Youth Mud. It has the magically effect on my skin and just improves its appearance overall in 10 minutes. It's expensive, but then again, it works. Recently I've become a bit of Murad fan girl and have been trying so many of their products. I love their pomegrante range, and I loved how light the Engergising Pomegrante Moisturiser was. I was also very impressed with the Time Release Acne Cleanser which solved my hormonal blemish issues out in a flash. I got the Soap & Glory Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser absolutely ages ago when it was very hyped up in the blogging world. I've never actually tried a hot cloth cleanser but I have to admit it was lovely and made my skin very soft. I did find though that I had to use a separate makeup remover with this as it did leave a little behind. Lastly, I was devastated when I finished this sample of Sanctuary Spa's Active Reverse Body Resurface & Refine Ultra Polish. It was a great exfoliator, and not too harsh for sensitive skin. At £12, this is going straight on my list to re-purchase in May.

Have you tried any of these products? Have you got any recommendations for me?

  1. I am a massive lover of a hot cloth cleanser. I always take my eye make up off first with a wipe as I hate to have the cleanser near my eyes (contact lenses wearer), I like the Liz Earle C+P, and I am using the No7 Hot Clothe CLeanser at the mo. It works out at £5 if you use one of those vouchers that they give you everytime you shop in Boots :)

  2. I feel your pain Jessica! I can't buy anything until the end of the year! I have a sample of some Glam Glow thirsty mud. Loving it so far. Will have to try youth mud! There's a really good exfoliator that's nice. It's a peeling gel (Cure Natural Aqua Gel) on Amazon. Game. Changer.

Thank you for taking the time to tap out a comment. I read every single one and it really does brighten up my day when I know someone out there is one my wavelength.
