In the words of Green Day, Wake Me Up When September Ends. I say that because I feel like I've been constantly fighting against obstacles this month, mainly health related (although the blue bin, shoe encounter comes a close 2nd). However, I haven't given up with out a fight, and if I say so myself, the other guy looked worse ;) This month I took the very very exciting plunge of booking a 10 day trip to the USA next September, alone. I'm doing a Trek America tour of California starting in LA and ending in San Francisco, with Arizona & Utah thrown in for good measure. Since booking the trip I literally cannot wait and it's all I'll talk about given the opportunity. From planning what to pack, where to see on my extra days, and even what goodies I need to search CVS and Sephora for, this is a trip of a lifetime and I plan on making the most of it. Another exciting opportunity I've been given that you all do know about, is being an official blogger for the Fashion & Lifestyle exhibition in Manchester. I think you can all see that learnt my lesson last month and I am making the most of every opportunity given to me.

Things I've learn't this month:

  1. With darker nights drawing in, the best television comes on television. Gogglebox is back and Downton has returned. Who needs to go out when you can have a cosy night in with Branson!
  2. The countdowm to Christmas is really on (yes. I said it. sorry not sorry). Strictly is on, I've seen my first mince pies in the shops (?) and there's talk of beauty advent calendars. Let the magic begin.
  3. I am a complete horder. This month I found out that my memory card was holding a list 8 A4 pages long worth of photos for blog posts.
  4. Spiders are getting bigger because of global warming. It's a fact I wish wasn't true.

What have you been up to this month?

Thank you for taking the time to tap out a comment. I read every single one and it really does brighten up my day when I know someone out there is one my wavelength.
